Chevrolet Car Steering Column Bearing (Mast Jacket) Under Steering Wheel (Except I-Beam Axle)

This is a bearing (Mast Jacket) assembly is located under the steering wheel (Except beam axle "JB" and "KB" model cars) and installs to the top of the steering column. This kit will provide you with a way to eliminate the up and down play in your steering wheel. This part has been improved by adding more bearing surface to give it a longer life. We recommend you lube with lithium (white) grease prior to installation. *Note* Failure to lubricate the bearing during installation may cause premature wear. The horn wire may need to be lengthened (made with only one length). We found that the one bearing will fit many Chevrolet car years and models.
